The Ad Hoc range features nine wines that
each reflect our take on WA’s classic regional and varietal pairings:

Mt. Barker 'Wall Flower'
Riesling

Because good wine doesn’t have to scream its virtues. Sometimes shyness, delicacy and restraint are the signposts that lead to inner beauty.

Margaret River 'Straw Man'
Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Because the best examples of this regional blend show the distinctive aromas of fresh straw and cut grass. And calling something out of Margaret River Grass Man would have been more trouble than it’s worth.

Frankland River
'Middle of Every Where' Shiraz

Because some people might think Frankland River's a little isolated - but if you want to make great Shiraz in WA, it’s right where you want to be.

Western Australia is my winemaking heartland and over the years I reckon I’ve got a pretty good handle on what works where. Everything I do reflects my strong belief that when you get the right varieties in the right sites you’re well on your way to making good wine.

Having got the framework right, we've been able to have a bit of fun with the Ad Hoc range, both in the winery and on the branding side too. I've tried a few things with these wines to give them unique personalities rather than just make carbon copies of some of the well established examples.

We’ve gone against every bit of conventional branding wisdom with the labelling as well. Each wine has several unique labels and we’re going to change between them whenever the mood strikes.

The AD HOC wines are available on premise, through independent retailers and direct. They retail from $16.99 to $21.99.
