Following its highly successful launch last year, we have added two new whites to The Yard.

The new wines are a Margaret River Semillon Sauvignon Blanc sourced from the Pedestal vineyard, and a Riesling from the Whispering Hill vineyard in Mount Barker.

The fruit from the Pedestal vineyard is seriously exciting and we're pretty lucky to have got our hands on it. The vineyard is in Wilyabrup, which I've always felt was one of Margaret River’s best sub regions.

The Whispering Hill vineyard down south was planted 20 years ago and has shown virtually from day one just how suited the variety and region are. It's vineyards like these, and the chance to let them shine, that inspired The Yard in the first place.

The Yard is the result of a deliberate plan to source all fruit from family vineyards in Western Australia’s premier wine growing regions. 

The wines are a good representation of their regions and vineyards and we're quietly excited about how they've come up in quality and stylistic terms.

The just-released whites will be followed by the single vineyard 2006 Acacia Shiraz from the Acacia family vineyard in Frankland River.
